RATES
Rates vary per cabin. Rates do not include tax. We accept cash or checks (no credit cards).

RESERVATIONS
• Call 218-663-7595 to make a reservation.
• A minimum three-night reservation is preferred (two-night minimum stay is required).
• No Saturday check-ins or check-outs.
• Rates do not include tax.
• Reservations for 2025 open June 1, 2024.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENT
• Within 10 days after making a reservation, you must send one-night’s rental as a deposit to hold your dates.
• Once your deposit is received, a confirmation card will be sent to you.
• Your balance plus tax is due at check-in. Reminder: we accept only cash or checks. ATMs are available locally.

CANCELLATION POLICY
• If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP so we can rebook the cabin.
• Cancelations more than 15 days out of your arrival date: you’ll receive your deposit back, minus a $30 booking fee.
• Cancellations less than 15 days out will not be refunded, no exceptions, including weather.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
• Check-in: 3 p.m. or later.
• Check-out: 10 a.m. Please return your keys to the office.

OFFICE HOURS
Summer office hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please call to make special arrangements for after-business-hour arrivals. Come to the office the next day to register and pay for your stay.

PETS
We do not allow pets. Please respect this policy.

SMOKING
All cabins are smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted inside any of the cabins.

TV and Wi-Fi
Some of our cabins have a phone, television, and/or Wi-Fi. Details for each cabin are listed on the cabin’s web page.

CHARCOAL GRILLS
Each cabin has a charcoal grill. (Use is prohibited during DNR fire bans. The management will let you know if there are any fire bans.)

CAMPFIRES
Campfires are only allowed on the shoreline rocks. Please build fires responsibly, and only in the fire rings! This preserves the delicate lichen ecosystem on the rocks. Firewood is available at local stores.

MAINTENANCE
Every effort is made to keep our property and equipment in good working order. Please notify managers if there is a problem.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
Maximum occupancy of cabins is determined by the State of Minnesota and individual cabin owners. The number of people allowed per cabin is posted on our website and brochures. Please respect these limits. Children 2 years old and under do not count toward maximum occupancy. We do not allow tents, campers, or RVs.

HOUSEKEEPING
All cabins are furnished with bedding, towels, and kitchen amenities. Towels will be replaced only upon request.

Sugar Beach ownership & management

Each Sugar Beach cabin and lake home is individually owned. Most of the owners reside in the Twin Cities area. The owners make up the Sugar Beach Homeowners Association.

The resort is managed by Kim and Lee Jahnke.
